Welcome! If you are on this page because
you serve seniors professionally—either through their living
environment, day care, hospice services or in some other manner—then
you share with us the knowledge that our seniors are, indeed, our
Living Legacies.

Have you ever wished you knew more about
those you are serving?
Has it been frustrating not to know the fullness
of who they were before?
Would you like to offer families a means
of having a short biography created with pictures and text
so that your staff could better relate to their loved one?
Do you think a collection of such profiles
prepared for your facility would speak well of your in-depth
care?
Would you like to have a page on your own website
called “Our Living Legacies” which displayed these
beautiful profiles?*

even with consent, we recommend changing the names and identifying

If these questions have struck a chord, we invite you to become
an Affiliate of Living Legacies, utilizing us as an
outside resource to prepare the basic Living Legacy
product of four pages for your clients, patients or
residents. They will be well served at a time in their
lives when this sensitive approach to care giving is
particularly needed and generally ignored. Affiliation
can range from your simple endorsement to partial or
total absorption of costs. It’s up to you. Whichever
type of affiliation you choose, both your facility and
your seniors will certainly gain.
Please explore the rest of our website
and contact us for any additional
information. |

The roots of Living Legacies
grew out of a concern that the residents of the nursing home where
my mother lived would never need to suffer the thoughts expressed
in this poem. The original longer version is said to have been found
inconspicuously at the back of the bedside drawer of its anonymous
author after her death. For more, see our About
Us page.
