PRODUCTS
Unlike scrapbook or photo album formats,
Living Legacies utilizes a magazine-like
layout. The primary focus is the story while appropriate pictures
enhance and clarify. Each two-sided page is sealed in a flexible
laminate to assure durability and safety from tears or spills for
years to come.
Basic
Story Album
Four letter-sized pages, laminated back-to-back
into a two-sheet booklet, bound with ribbon or cord. This is an
appropriate format for a starter Living
Legacy which can be expanded later. It is also perfect
for event tributes, gifts, memorials, or for persons with special
needs. CD and privately viewable online file (PDF format) also
available.
In-Depth
Story Album
Back-to-back laminated pages are arranged
by appropriate topics, such as decades or any other structure
that fits your story. There are many approaches that can be taken,
including our “Little Too” Books, designed for toddlers
and young children. The binding style will depend upon length.
Digital versions are also available, including a PDF format file
that can be viewed privately through our website by your family
members worldwide.
Oral
History, with or without video
End product is a DVD. This can
be a stand-alone piece or a beautiful accompaniment to any Album,
capturing nuances impossible to gather on paper alone.

GETTING
STARTED
If you are interested in having a
Living Legacy prepared for yourself
or a family member, please contact us.
We’ll arrange an initial meeting in person or by phone to
get acquainted, explore objectives, and answer all your questions.
We are based on the Westside of Los
Angeles, so our face-to-face interactions are usually with people
living in the greater Los Angeles area. Thanks to the internet,
however, a Living Legacy can be created
effectively no matter where you reside. That first conversation
will be, of course, with no charge or obligation. We’ll discover
which options are most appropriate by format and price, and then
to come to an agreement and plan of action.
Gathering
data: After that initial consultation, there
will be a general set of questions to be answered in writing at
your leisure and returned to us. But it will be through relaxed
chats that we will be able to listen and learn what is important
to you. At all times, your trust will be honored by our pledge of
privacy (see privacy policy).
Photographs and memorabilia:
We will need to be provided with a collection of the pictures you
would like to have considered for inclusion. While we will make
every effort to protect your photographs and return them within
days, we ask that you do not provide us with any picture or item
that is irreplaceable. High resolution reproductions by a good photography
studio are worth your investment; or high resolution (300 dpi) jpegs
can be emailed to us.
We look forward to getting to know
you and making something wonderful together!
